What's new in Orlando

So what’s new in Orlando? Disney's Pandora - The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom, is the largest expansion in the park's history. Discover an alien planet featuring floating mountains, bioluminescent rainforests and a Banshee flying attraction, as well as new after-dark entertainment.

Experience the Wizarding World of Harry PotterTM at Universal Orlando Resort, and Universal’s new tropical island water theme park, Volcano Bay, offers a little something for everyone in the family, including adventure seekers to the littlest water-loving splashers. From thrilling water rides to relaxing white sand beaches, this volcanic tropical oasis takes the Universal experience to a whole new level.

Underwater thrills, mesmerizing shows combining art and science, and nighttime entertainment are some of the new things you will experience at SeaWorld Orlando.

Looking for somewhere new to eat in Orlando? Then get ready to rock ‘n roll! Ace Café, the iconic London-based, motor-themed café, now has a location in downtown Orlando. A famous outpost for "petrolheads" and rockers since 1938, the Ace Café in London has been featured in a variety of British TV shows and films, from "Top Gear" to "Freebird." The new Orlando location is the first in North America, but the spirit stays true to the original Ace Cafe, a full-throttle destination of dining, entertainment and retail.

Orlando’s theme parks can be a bit overpowering for some visitors, and that’s when an excursion into the “other” Orlando is in order. Tour a rocket forest, sit in a space capsule, or see a space shuttle up close at Kennedy Space Center; see the largest collection of Tiffany glass in the world at the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art; see live gators and turtles at Orlando Science Center; swim or canoe at Weikiwa Springs State Park or go for a hike or horseback ride in the Ocala National Forest; and much more.

Pointe Orlando, a spectacular 17-acre shopping and entertainment complex, is located right across the street from the Rosen Plaza Hotel. Pointe Orlando features Regal Pointe 21 Multiplex with IMAX® 3D Theaters, WonderWorks amusement park for the mind, dozens of fine shops, restaurants and clubs.
