Missouri Licensure Bill (SB 544) Introduced

Another clinical laboratory personnel licensure bill (SB 544) has been introduced in the Missouri Senate.

This bill is similar to other bills [HB 2051 (2006); SB 1099 (2006); SB 314 (2007); SB 1162 (2008); and SB 365 (2009)] introduced over the past seven years.

SB 544 requires a four-year college degree to be licensed as an MT (or CLS) and a two-year college degree to be licensed as an MLT.
