* The A&E Review Course on Sept. 5-6 does not provide an in-depth overview of CLIA, general laboratory management, and regulatory topics covered on the ABB General Knowledge examination. It is recommended that individuals seeking certification as a laboratory director in a reproductive discipline register for the 3-day A&E/GK combo.

About the A&E and GK Review Courses

The A&E and General Knowledge Review Courses returns in-person for the first time since 2017! The course is ideal to study and prepare for ABB and ABOR certification examinations, earn continuing education credits, and enhance your knowledge.

Organized by the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) and the AAB College of Reproductive Biology (CRB) to help individuals prepare for certification examinations, including the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) certification examinations for Directors and Technical Supervisors in the disciplines of andrology, embryology and general knowledge. The Andrology & Embryology and General Knowledge Review Courses are also an excellent review for individuals entering the field or for those who need a refresher course.

An impressive faculty of leading experts in the fields of reproductive biology and assisted reproductive technologies (ART) has been assembled for this course.

General Knowledge topics include:

Andrology & Embryology topics include:

  • Semen analysis, advanced diagnostic testing in andrology, sperm preparation and cryopreservation for ART, and the male contribution to the embryo and offspring.

AAB's 2025 Andrology & Embryology and General Knowledge Review Courses are being held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Grapevine DFW Airport North, 2401 Bass Pro Drive, Grapevine, TX 76051, located two miles from DFW International Airport.

Make your hotel reservations as soon as possible ONLINE or by calling the Embassy Suites – Outdoor World at (972)724-2600, option #1, and ask for rooms reserved for the A&E Review Course 2025. The room rate is $179.00 per night, single or double occupancy, plus applicable taxes (currently 13%) plus a state cost recovery fee of 0.975%.

Individuals who reserve a room at the Embassy Suites may take advantage of a daily complimentary breakfast buffet of hot and cold items plus a reception each evening with complimentary beverages and snacks. Registrants who are not staying at the Embassy Suites do not qualify for the free breakfast or reception.

August 22, 2025, is the deadline date for guaranteed room availability. Reservations received after August 22, 2025, will be accepted on a space available basis.
