Credentialing and Membership Committee
Melanie Clemmer, Ph.D., HCLD(ABB)

The Membership and Credentialing Committee of the CRB is tasked with determining and representing the general needs of the CRB membership and assisting the administrative team with clarifications and updates to credentialing. The Committee consists of Melanie Clemmer, Chair, WVU Center for Reproductive Medicine; Thomas O’Leary, Oregon Health Sciences University; Ali Ahmady, USC Fertility Center; and Liesl Nel-Themaat, CU Advanced Reproductive Medicine. We have gotten acquainted with each other and determined what the primary tasks to be accomplished this year. First, we are working to secure sponsors for CRB activities. CRB is always looking for new sponsors to bring on board and to continue to build support from our current sponsors. If you have a direct contact with a vendor that is related to the CRB mission that isn’t currently a sponsor please let us know and we can arrange to talk with them. Thank the current CRB sponsors for their support when you interact with them and let them know how much you appreciate their involvement!

Second, the Committee was looking for a way to increase and improve communication among members. To start with, a new Facebook page has been created for CRB. Check it out at www.facebook.com/AABCRB/. This will be a great place for quick reference to upcoming and past CRB activities. If you have something you’d like to see on the site then please let us know.

Finally, we are planning to distribute a survey to members and non-members. CRB wants to know what expectations you have with membership in CRB and how to get more of the membership involved. Look for it later this year. We are excited to work with you this year and see what CRB can accomplish!
