Meeting Committee

Carli Chapman, ELD/TS(ABB), Chair

Greetings peers,

The meeting committee is busy planning the 2016 CRB Symposium to be held May 12 – 14 at the beautiful Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The focus of the meeting will be Quality in the ART Practice. We have a number of fantastic and experienced faculty members. I have had the pleasure of working with most of the faculty in the past and they are not only great to work with, they have truly great wisdom to share.

Lisa Rinehart, RN, JD will lead a great interactive session on risk management in the laboratory. We are fortunate to have the co-authors of Quality and Risk Management in the IVF Laboratory, Dr. David and Dr. Sharon Mortimer, participating as faculty. Together, they are going to help us perfect laboratory policies and procedures and review the problems with drift. Dr. Brian Levin will be updating us on the use of technology to stay connected with our laboratories. Dr. Charles Bormann will be presenting on disaster preparedness and drawing from his experiences in Boston. Dr. Bruce Shapiro will present clinical updates and focus on the newest trends, which include freeze all cycles for all patients.

The meeting committee is planning a very interactive program. All attendees will be expected to participate utilizing the Audience Response System as well as other interactive teaching techniques. We are busy communicating and will have the entire agenda finalized shortly after the ASRM meeting in October.

Look for announcements on the Keynote speaker and the pre-symposium workshop coming soon!
