From the President
T. Arthur Chang, Ph.D., HCLD/ELD/CC(ABB)

Dear CRB Members,

As I am finishing my term as CRB president, I would like to thank you all again for the strong support to our committees and the community throughout the past 12 months. The CRB leadership team, Dara Berger, Melanie Clemmer, Salustiano Ribeiro, Eva Schenkman, and their committee members, have done an excellent job and tremendous efforts on member recruitment, legislative topics, credentialing process, publications, and conference planning.

During this unprecedented time, we have seen the pandemic’s impact on multiple fronts: first came the suspension of fertility clinic operations, subsequent layoffs and furloughs, then the surprising booming business after the reopening nationwide. All of those dramatically shifted the work environment for many of us.

This month I’m passing the gavel to our new CRB President Salustiano “Salu” Ribeiro. Salu is a very experienced embryologist and talented businessperson. I have no doubt that CRB will continue to grow steadily under his leadership and provide the best quality service to members. I strongly encourage CRB members to send feedback and ideas to the new CRB Executive Board for upcoming educational and networking activities, as well as approaches to improve communication and member participation. I will assume the 2022 Educational Conference Committee chair. Please send over suggestions regarding next year’s conference.

I look forward to seeing everyone in Austin, Texas next May, if not sooner!

T. Arthur Chang, PhD, HCLD/ELD/CC(ABB)
