Call For Abstracts

You are invited to participate in the American Association of Bioanalysts’ (AAB’s) Annual Educational Conference.  The 2008 conference will be held May 15-17 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Flamingo Las Vegas.

Authors are encouraged to submit titles and abstracts for consideration in two categories:  traditional laboratory (chemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunology, molecular diagnostics, environmental, public health) and assisted reproductive technology.  Abstracts may be in any field in the traditional clinical laboratory and in assisted reproductive technology and reproductive biology, including original scientific contributions, laboratory troubleshooting and practical contributions.

Abstracts for both oral and poster presentation will be accepted in the area of reproductive biology.  Abstracts for poster presentation only will be accepted in the area of the traditional laboratory.

Travel awards will be presented for the best abstract selected for oral presentation in the reproductive categories.  Oral abstract presentations will be Friday afternoon May 16, 2008.  All abstracts submitted for oral presentation will be eligible for one of two $1,000 travel awards.

Cash awards will be presented for the best traditional and assisted reproductive technology abstract presented during the Conference Poster Session being held on Friday evening, May 16, 2008.  All abstracts submitted will be eligible for one of two $250 awards.

Membership in the American Association of Bioanalysts and the College of Reproductive Biology is not a requirement for submitting an abstract.  There is no limit to the number of abstracts you may author.  However, the first author must also be present at the poster session.

AAB and the AAB College of Reproductive Biology look forward to providing this forum and to your involvement and participation.  To submit your abstract, complete an abstract submission form or contact the AAB office for forms (aab@aab.org).
