POLT(AAB) - Physician Office Laboratory Technician |
To be certified as POLT(AAB) – Physician Office Laboratory Technician – an individual must meet at least one (1) of the following requirements:
| 1. | Be a high school graduate, or equivalent, and graduate from a clinical laboratory training program that is acceptable to the AAB Board of Registry |
| AND | |
| Pass the AAB Board of Registry's Physician Office Laboratory Technician examination. | |
| OR | |
| 2. | Be a high school graduate, or equivalent, and have twelve (12) months of experience in a physician's office laboratory or other clinical laboratory acceptable to the AAB Board of Registry |
| AND | |
| Pass the AAB Board of Registry's Physician Office Laboratory Technician examination. | |
