Important Information for Nominees to the Nominees must accept the nomination, either in writing or verbally, before being placed on the election ballot. Nominees must be present and properly credentialed at the Thursday, May 14, 2015, AAB Associate Member Section Business Meeting during which elections will be held in order to be listed on the official ballot and be eligible for election.* *In unusual circumstances, this requirement can be waived if the reason for non-attendance is approved by the AMS Administrative Board in advance of the business meeting. |

AAB Regional Nominations and Election Committee for the AMS Representatives to the AAB Regional Boards of Governors [one to be elected for each region]:

Elections will be held during the AAB Associate Member Section Business Meeting on Thursday, May 14, at the 2015 AAB Annual Meeting and Educational Conference, Red Rock Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada.
While the deadline to submit nominees to the Nominating Committee has passed, members may be nominated for election to the AMS Administrative Board or to the AMS Nominating Committee by a written petition signed by at least ten (10) members in good standing of the AMS. The administrator of the AMS must receive such petition no later than noon of the day preceding the business meeting at the annual meeting of the AMS members. For 2015, that will be by noon on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
To be eligible for nomination, an individual must be an AMS Registrant Class, AMS Regular Class, or an AMS Life Member in good standing. To be eligible for nomination to a regional board of governors, the nominee must also reside in the region of nomination.
Elections will be held during the AAB Associate Member Section Business Meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the 2015 AAB Annual Meeting and Educational Conference at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas (Summerlin), Nevada.
Nominations will not be accepted from the floor during the annual business meeting. You must be present to cast a vote.
This is your chance to vote directly for your officers and board members. The AAB Associate Member Section is unique among medical technologist organizations in that you have the opportunity to vote directly for the candidate of your choice rather than through a delegate.
